Brief Biographical Sketch:

I came to San Francisco in 1998 after completing a BA in Sociology and Creative Writing from SUNY Binghamton, NY. Instead of embarking on the usual post-academia career path, I worked in organic stores, juice bars, and vegetarian restaurants while completing my book, Project Integrity International: Philosophy & Plan for a New Economy. This book spells out my vision for a Novel Green Franchise Model that will accelerate the green business movement to an exponential--and critical--rate. I recently took a job as a Starbuck's Barista to study the methods of product deployment, mission statement, and overall operations of the highly successful cafe establishment. Needing a change of location, however, I then resigned and took a job with Stanford Hospitality in the new Li Ka Shing Cafe. Although I had just been accepted into an MBA program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in my hometown, Troy, NY, I thought it better to get "real experience" in the cafe industry. The next step? Launch the prototype--an innovative juice bar that will take the Bay Area and world beyond to the next stage of the entrepreneurial, sustainability, and natural foods revolution!
