Brief Biographical Sketch:

I am a third year PhD candidate in the Cancer Biology program at Stanford Medical School. I received my bachelors in Molecular Biosciences and Biotechnology, with a minor in chemistry, from Arizona State University in 2016. Although my training is in molecular biology and chemistry, I have spent the past several years using computational approaches to analyze large-scale cancer genomics datasets. In my free time, I love to read, play piano/guitar, swim, bike, and play volleyball.

W7334: Intro to Computational Cancer Biology in Splash Spring 2019 (May. 04 - 05, 2019)
How do genes, mutations, cancer, and programming intersect? In this brief class, you will be exposed to state-of-the-art methods in applying computational methods to cancer research and drug discovery. We will discuss the intersection between programming and biology and how it relates to disease research and therapy identification. All levels of computational/biology exposure welcome!!
