P2026: Fun with Photons in Splash! Spring 2012 (Apr. 21 - 22, 2012)
Come learn and play with light! Some background on the properties of light will be taught, but the main portion of this class is dedicated to letting students learn by doing hands on demos to explore the many properties of light and see how they can and are used in modern society. Properties such as color, polarization, diffraction, guiding, reflection, refraction, fluorescence, and absorption will be covered.
