Brief Biographical Sketch:

Hi there! I'm a senior at Stanford currently pursuing a bachelor's and master's in electrical engineering with a focus in hardware. I come from a small suburb of southern California called Rowland Heights. Growing up in the Los Angeles area means I have been surrounded by numerous space institutions such as Griffith Observatory, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, SpaceX, and Boeing, which have instilled within me an urge to explore the ominous and mysterious blanket that wraps our world: space. Last summer I worked at Astranis to bring the globe connected to the internet through low cost satellites. This summer I will be working at SpaceX on Crew Dragon!

E7309: Spacecraft Electronics: How do Rockets and Satellites Survive Space? in Splash Spring 2019 (May. 04 - 05, 2019)
Space is a harsh and scary place for your everyday electronics! Temperature variation, radiation from galactic cosmic rays, charged particles from the Van Allen belt, and other random sources can render most electronics these days useless. That's why most electronics have to be built to tolerate or shield radiation in order to function properly. Come learn about how electronics are built to withstand radiation and temperature variation. We will also be building a fun circuit that demonstrates these capabilities.


E6764: The New Space Age- where Entrepreneurship and Rocket Science collide in Splash Fall 2018 (Dec. 01 - 02, 2018)
The space industry is in a renaissance. Thanks to the likes of Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Richard Branson and hundreds of other entrepreneurs across the industry, it is easier than ever to get to space and new technologies are continuing to push the limits of what spacecraft are capable of doing. In this class you will learn more about some of the latest developments in the space industry and try your hand at developing your own idea for a space company.


E5819: The Heart of a Rocket in Splash Spring 2017 (Apr. 22 - 23, 2017)
From SpaceX's Falcon 9 to NASA's Saturn V, these rockets all had one major goal: deliver their payload into space. Rocket payloads have ranged in the past from satellites to human-carrying spacecrafts to rovers intended to explore Mars. In this class, you will learn about the engineering fundamentals that go behind building a rocket payload as while as catch some handy rocket science knowledge and history on the way. This class is intended for space fanatics and just about anyone curious about the progress of human exploration.
