Brief Biographical Sketch:

Hello everyone, my name is Robert Bucayu, Robi for short. I am currently in my third year at Stanford, studying Biology and aiming to get my honors thesis completed within the Department of Immunology before I graduate. I just came from studying abroad in Santiago and am on the track to complete a Spanish minor and proficiency notation. I am a musician at heart, having been involved with a capella on campus (Everyday People freshman year, Talisman sophomore year) as well as the Catholic Leadership Praise and Worship Team.

My hobbies include singing and playing my keyboard/guitar, working out (including Insanity routines), and eating. I have a constant craving for chicken and rice, emphasis on the rice. Flights and paragliding don't work well with me and my problem with motion sickness. I think cats are the most annoying creatures on the planet, and I would choose my German Shepherd Willy any day.

V2010: Rueda de Casino - Cuban style salsa in Splash! Spring 2012 (Apr. 21 - 22, 2012)
"Rueda" means "wheel" in Spanish. This dance derives its name from the general formation its dancers take. Pairs of dancers form a circle and execute many moves that include swapping partners. Rueda de Casino was developed in Havana, Cuba in the late 1950s and early 1960s by the group Guaracheros de Regla. This extremely fun, slow-paced class is perfect for beginners with no experience as well as avid dancers who want to explore a new dance. Vamanos!
