Brief Biographical Sketch:
Glade Dlott has been hunting and eating wild mushrooms for a decade, having been obsessed with them from the age of 12. After receiving a B.S. in Soil Science from the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, he went on to study agricultural soil microbes at the University of Maryland, College Park. Now, he studies fungi and soil microbial ecology at Stanford. Come learn about the hidden world of fungi in this interactive course. You will learn about the ecology, evolution, and human uses of fungi, and will get hands-on practice identifying mushrooms on your own!
