Brief Biographical Sketch:
I am a Stanford Freshman currently studying MCS. I grew up in South Dakota where I worked for an IT firm, designing websites and logos for local businesses. Here at Stanford my experience in design primarily focuses on the moral philosophy and repercussions of design. Although my coursework now primarily focuses on Math and Computer Science, I still take time to develop my ideation and drafting abilities. From nebulous ideas to concrete realizations, design is an iterative process of communication. We will dive into what design is, what it means for humans and our society, and learn first-hand how to communicate our ideas to others through intentional, artful, and efficient design.
