V2185: Salsa Dancing and Musicality in Splash! Spring 2012 (Apr. 21 - 22, 2012)
The goal of this class is to provide a clear connection between salsa music and the basic salsa steps. The first part of the class explain the musical structure of salsa music, including counting, the clave rhythm pattern, and principle instruments. The second part of the class will teach basic salsa steps, emphasizing how they fit into the musical structure.
