Brief Biographical Sketch:

Dr. Stephanie Casey was born and raised in Santa Barbara, and attended UCLA for undergrad, where she studied Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics and English. She completed her PhD in Cancer Biology at UC Irvine, and is currently a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University Department of Medicine, Division of Oncology. Her research interests include tumorigenesis, tumor relapse, and how the immune system contributes to each, with a focus on leukemia and lymphoma. She has also has a specific interest in the role of inflammation and endocrine disruption in carcinogenesis. Basically, she loves cancer biology, and hopes you do too!
